Usnea Lichen - Is considered a powerful antibiotic, antifungal, antimicrobial, and antiviral.  I find that using Usena spray tincture in the back of the throat helps pevent illnesses from happening.  It's great for cold and flu season.  Usnea is effective for gram positive viral infections such as such as Streptococcus and Staphylococcus, making Usnea a valuable addition to herbal formulas for sore throats and skin infections. It is also effective against a respiratory problems such as bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infections, strep throat, and other cold and flus issues.   Usnea spray is also useful topically on wounds and skin conditions.

  • DOSAGE:

    Use 2-3 sprays in the back of throat, 3-4 times a day as needed for exsisting condition.  or spray topically on wounds or skin.

  • SHELF LIFE:

    We recommend using alcohol-based tinctures within two years.  However, some alcohol tinctures have a shelf life of up to 6 years, particularly those made with a high percentage of alcohol. 

    Tinctures that are vegetable glycerine based do not need to be refridgerated and can last from 3-5 years.  If stored properly in a dark cool place. 

    Tinctured glycerites made with no alcohol have a shelf life of approximately 1-2 years.
